President Abdel Fattah El Sisi
Cairo - Arab Today

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi lauded on Wednesday efforts being exerted by the Administrative Control Authority at such hard stage, stressing the state's seriousness about fighting corruption.

While opening a fish farming project in Ismailia, Sisi said any wrongdoing committed by a person should not smear the institution for which is working.

As for the project, Sisi called for getting a specialized advisory panel to serve the project.

He added that he knew the Suez Canal University is offering advice for the project, but there should be specialists always present at the project.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the state institutions are respectable and house very respectable persons, but when someone commits a wrongdoing he should be held accountable.

The president said monitoring bodies could not fight corruption alone, urging officials to join hands in the face of corruption.

He called on officials to follow up every tiny detail in their institutions to curb corruption
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi urged all officials to keep in touch with the Administrative Control Authority and the Central Auditing Agency to uproot corruption.

The president added that he does not interfere in the work of the Administrative Control Authority.

Sisi added that anyone who commits a wrongdoing should be held accountable, no one is above the law.

He said "I, as a president, am ready to be questioned."

The president said what is happening in the country is a litmus test to the Egyptians.

The president voiced appreciation for the Egyptians for succeeding to pass the test and bear the repercussions of the hard measures taken.

He added that strenuous efforts are being exerted to make up for the repercussions of such measures.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the current fish farming project is scheduled to consist of 4,000 tanks that would be finalized by the end of 2017, Sisi said.

He added that there is another fish farming project being set up on 19,000 feddans in eastern Port Said and another project in Kafr el Sheikh.

The two projects were scheduled to be opened this month, but they have not been finalized yet, he said.
