Mortar shells, emanating from the Syrian side, fell a while ago on the outskirts of the Akkari towns of Haker Janeen, Qeshlak and al-Arma, Lebanese news agency (NNA) reported. A number of shells fell in the surroundings of a private residence belonging to one of the Lebanese citizens. This incident is a new episode of a series of violations by the Syrian side since the start of the Syrian crisis, which included the falling of mortar shells and rockets at border villages north and east of Lebanon, at a time when Lebanon has officially demanded neutralizing the Lebanese territory from the ongoing conflict there.
