Sheikh of Al-Azhar Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb met here today Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is currently visiting Egypt. During the meeting, they discussed the overall developments at Arab and Islamic arenas and aspects of cooperation between Al-Azhar and Turkey and the role that could contribute to such cooperation in the face of current developments and efforts to encourage dialogue between Muslims and others.
