HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani chaired the cabinet weekly regular session held at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday. After the meeting HE Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullal Al-Mahmoud stated the following: The cabinet considered topics tabled on the agenda as follows: First; The cabinet took note of the memo of HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs and the attached annual report of the Permanent Committee for Drugs and Alcohol Affairs. The memo included the progress made for implementing the first phased plan of the national strategy on combating narcotics in the State of Qatar 2010-2015 and the recommendations made by the working team concerned with assessment of the first phased plan and the second phased draft plan of such a strategy. The cabinet underlined its due keenness of such a topic and highly appreciated the tireless efforts exerted on part of the said committee ,the contents of the aforesaid report and contributions of ministries and the other governmental organs in this field. Second: Taking the necessary measures for issuing a draft law for regulating tourism after taking note of the Advisory Council recommendation on the draft law. HE the Prime Minsiter Chairs Cabinet Weekly Regular Meeting/1/ Fourth: Approving the Interior Ministry's proposal regarding the formation of an adhoc committee for reulating transport. Fifth: Approving the proposal of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning on regulating the periodical holidays of workers at the hygiene project at the ministry. Sixth: Taking the necessary measures for endorsing the following: 1-Amending the establishment agreement of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 2-A cooperation agreement on education , training and scientific research between the governments of Qatar and Mauritania . 3-A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on social affairs between the governments of Qatar and Mauritania. 4- A cooperation protocal between the ministries of foreign affairs of Qatar and Kyrgyzstan. Seventh: Approving the two following draft agreements: 1- A draft agreement on encouragement and protection of the mutual investments between the governments of Qatar and the Kingdom od Cambodia. 2-A draft agreement on economic, trade and technical cooperation between the governments of Qatar and the Kingdom of Cambodia. Eighth: The cabinet reviewed the letter of HE the Minister of Justice concerning the outcomes of each of the 48th meeting of the executive office and the 27th session of the Arab Justice Ministers' Council held in Cairo in Feb.2012 and took the appropriate decision therein .
