The General Administration of the Sharjah Civil Defence has called on citizens and residents to adhere to the requirements of its Prevention and Safety Department by applying the necessary instructions, especially during summer, to avoid fire accidents.
Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director-General of Civil Defence in Sharjah, said that the Department has been preparing sophisticated mechanisms and equipment each year to face the problems in summer.
He stressed the need for all members of society to implement preventive measures and conditions in their homes, shops, and vehicles to prevent fire accidents. He also urged parents not to leave their children unattended in parks and beaches.
