The Jordanian Prime Minister, Dr. Fayez Al Tarawna received Bahrain’s Minister of Culture, Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, where he praised the reform process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing out the active cultural movement in the framework of Manama being chosen as the capital of Arab Culture. During the meeting Shaikha Mai praised the strong brotherly and bilateral relations with Jordan, and the prosperity and progress they witness in the light of the wise vision of the leadership in the two countries, particularly in the cultural area. Meanwhile, Shaikha Mai met with the Jordanian counterpart, Salah Jarrar, where she presented a detailed brief about the active cultural environment witness by the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially what is concerned with Manama celebrations, the capital of Arab Culture, this year. Shaikha Mai stressed the importance of transferring the Bahraini cultural product, in the framework of the cultural exchange with the Arab Countries which are having common history and civilization. Shaikha Mai also pointed out that Bahrain is experiencing major dynamic movement in various cultural fields, including design, heritage, museums, music, theater, translations, and the environment, in addition to holding cultural weeks in cooperation with countries of the world. The cultural movement in Bahrain also includes cultural festivals for all segments of society and among them are the youth and children. For his part, the Jordanian Minister of Culture highlighted the importance of benefitting from the expertise in the two countries in all various cultural areas to elevate culture in the Arab World, pointing out the historical relations between the two countries. The meetings were attended by Chargé d\'affaires at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Jordan, Mr. Mohammed Zubari.
