A Saudi convoy with aid for Syrian refugees has arrived in the Kingdom. The 40-truck convoy brought food, supplies, blankets, clothes and water and is part of the Saudi relief bridge to Syrian refugees, said the director of the campaign in Jordan, Saad Al Suwaid. The relief supplies will be distributed among Syrian refugees across the Kingdom, he added. The campaign, Al Suwaid noted, had already provided the Al Zaatari Refugee Camp with 40 caravans to improve living conditions, and would provide a total of 1000 caravans in the near future. Saudi Arabia is keen to help Jordan weather the repercussions of the large influx of Syrian refugees, he affirmed, adding that the campaign had so far given SR300 million in aid to Syrians in Jordan.
