France is determined to support politically and economically Morocco, a country which is modernized under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, said on Thursday in Tangier. \"France had the opportunity in many occasions to commend the vision of King Mohammed VI and praise the extraordinary success of the referendum on constitutional reforms as well as Morocco\'s path towards democracy,\" Sarkozy said in a statement to the press at the Marchane palace in Tangier. \"For us it was extremely moving\" to come here to launch the building works of the link of “the first Arab high speed train built by France in Morocco,\" which shows \"confidence\" towards French companies and \"a commitment we made with HM the King in 2007,\" said the French President.
