Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, to the Qatari Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, as well as their wishes of continuous good health and happiness to him and of further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Qatari people. This came as the Qatari Amir received at the Amiri Diwan today the Foreign Minister, currently on an official visit to state of Qatar. Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani welcomed Shaikh Khalid and lauded the outstanding bilateral relations of fraternity and joint cooperation in all fields. The Foreign Affairs Minister expressed Bahrain\'s pride in its relations with Qatar, noting that those ties are growing steadily thanks to the support of HM King Hamad and his brother the Qatari Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, which, he said, reflects the two brotherly countries\' joint desire to bolster them further for the common interests of their brotherly peoples. The Foreign Affairs Minister was also received by the Qatari Heir Apparent Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to whom he conveyed greetings and good wishes from HM the King, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince. During the meeting, they reviewed ways of bolstering the distinguished Bahraini-Qatari relations and joint cooperation and coordination in all fields so as to achieve complementarity and enhance the solid deep-rooted bonding the two brotherly peoples. During the visit, Shaikh Khalid held another meeting with the Speaker of the Qatari Advisory Council Moahmed bin Mubarak Al Kholaifi and reviewed with him the progress of Bahraini-Qatari relations, joint cooperation and parliamentary collaboration. Both sides stressed the importance of exchanged visits and coordination between the two countries at international gatherings. On the occasion, the Foreign Minister expressed the kingdom of Bahrain\'s thanks and appreciation to brotherly Qatar for its firm and historic stances stemming from its belief in the values of solidarity and common destiny bonding the two brotherly countries and their peoples. He also asserted that the meetings he had held with the Qatari wise leadership during his official visit yielded many positive results, particularly the signing of a Framework Agreement on Qatar\'s contribution to the GCC Development Fund, which, he said, proves brotherly Qatar\'s support for the kingdom\'s development plans and projects and confirms its constant keenness to consolidate cooperation and complementarity between GCC states so as to be able to face all challenges witnessed by the region and ensure the citizens a brighter and more prosperous future. On the sidelines of the same visit, the businessmen\'s delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister held a number of joint meetings with their Qatari counterparts. Talks focused on the need to consolidate economic and investment cooperation between businessmen and the private sector in both countries, and exchange of visits in order to avail of the available investment opportunities of each of them.
