The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today at the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations headquarters with the head of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, Ahmad al-Jarba. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in Syria, as well as the possible solutions to the Syrian crisis, including the Geneva II Conference. The meeting also discussed the humanitarian situation of the Syrians displaced, calling on the international community to take steps in this regard. The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies, members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir.
