Egypt's Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and his accompanying delegation left Amman on Thursday following a visit to the kingdom during which he met with Jordanian King Abdullah II and Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour. Qandil led Egypt's delegation in the 23rd session of the Joint Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee. The premier conveyed to the Jordanian monarch an invitation from President Mohamed Morsi to visit Egypt soon. He underlined the deeply-rooted ties binding Egypt and Jordan, adding that he is keen on enhancing bilateral relations in the upcoming phase. The committee addressed ways of boosting bilateral ties, especially in the fields of energy, labor and economy.
