The Dubai Public Prosecution presented gifts and mobile recharge cards to 100 cleaners and domestic helpers so as to facilitate their calls back home.
"This initiative stems from the prosecution's keenness to support charity projects to strengthen humanitarian solidarity. With this small gesture of cash and phone cards, we are helping the low-income workers to feel joy and greet their loved ones. It is a small recognition of the great efforts they are making," said Baqer Abdelwahed Abdullah, director of the department of institutional communication, Dubai Public Prosecution.
