Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, said a plan has been set, in collaboration with the Supreme Judicial Council, to develop legal services by switching to paperless system.
The minister told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the use of technology in Bahrain civil courts requires an amendment to the Code Pleading.
He said all civil courts are equipped with electronic systems and can go electronic, but waiting for amendments to Article 56 of Code Pleading by the Legislature.
