The Representatives Council’s parliamentary delegation will take part in the 25th emergency conference of the Arab Inter-parliamentary Union (AIPU) on the flagrant Israeli violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The conference will convene in Rabat, Morocco, on July 27.
The parliamentary delegation, headed by First Deputy Speaker Ali Al-Aradi, comprises MPs Jamal Dawood, Jalal Kadhim Al-Mahfoodh and Shura Council member Ahmed Bahzad.
The meeting is in line with a call by AIPU Chairman Habib Al-Maliki to all parliamentarians in the member states following the series of violations of the Israeli occupational forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque and their continuous and systematic escalation against the Palestinian worshippers willing to perform their religious rituals there, which is considered a provocation of Muslims’ sentiments around the world and a threat to regional stability.
