On the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, 903 people will get UAE citizenship who have reached the age of 18. Major General Nasser Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization and Residence in the Interior Ministry, said that they will get the citizens by June-end. He said that this group is the second to get the UAE citizenship to the sons of citizens. However, the ministry has yet to give citizenship documents to the first group of 1,117 people. He asked the sons of citizens who have attained 18-year of age to apply for Naturalisation and Residency departments in their emirate in which they live, and fulfill the necessary paperwork to request a grant of citizenship. He is visiting Dubai after Sharjah, where he delivered citizenship documents to 22 people, and Ajman, where he gave citizenship documents to 14 people. Menhali was speaking at a function to award citizenship to 22 people at the headquarter of General Administration for Residence and Citizenship in Dubai.
