Omani Attorney-General Hussain bin Ali Al-Hilali arrived here today to take part in the 7th meeting of the GCC Public Prosecutors, Attorneys General and Heads of investigation authorities, to be held here tomorrow, September 29. In a statement to the Bahrain News agency, he said the meeting will discuss a numer of judicial and administrative issues, exchange of members of public prosecutions in GCC countries and the Excellence Award, granted annually to GCC public prosecutions, attorneys general and investigation authorities. He welcomed the choice of Manama to host the Arab Court for Human Rights. He was welcomed upon arrival at the Bahrain International Airport by Attorney-General Ali Fadhl Al-Buainain. The meeting will spotlight key issues pertaining to boosting the GCC cooperation and the Public Prosecutions work. It will also review recommendations of the previous meeting and those of the meetings of the specialised committees during 2013.
