Nasser Judeh, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, has invited H.M. Sultan Qaboos of Oman to attend the upcoming Arab summit in Amman in March.
According to the Petra News Agency, the invitation was handed to H.H. Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, who received Judeh in Muscat recently.
During the meeting, Judeh said Jordan was keen for Oman to attend the summit, noting that the Sultanate's participation will contribute to the success of the event, thanks to its key regional role.
The two officials also discussed efforts to fight terrorism while reiterating the importance of closer Arab and international efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
