New Mufti for Tunisia appointed

Tunisia\'s President Mohammed Al-Munsef Al-Marzouki issued a decree today, appointing Hamdah Saeed as Tunisia\'s Mufti to replace Othman Batteikh. The statement said the appointment of Saeed will be effective from July 8, 2013 but stopped short of disclosing the reason of relieving Batteikh from his post.
