A delegation from the Nawah Energy Company visited the UAE-Jordanian camp in Mrajeeb Al Fhood, which is supervised by the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC.
Noora Al Murry, Deputy General Counsel and Company Secretary at the Nawah Energy Company, expressed her happiness about this visit, which put a smile on the faces of the Syrian refugees in the camp.
She explained that the visit is part of the "Nawah Giving" initiative launched by the company, the major partner of the UAE Peaceful Nuclear Energy Programme, which coincides with the Year of Giving initiative launched by the wise leadership.
Al Marri expressed her appreciation to the ERC volunteers for their efforts to provide for the needs of the refugees in the camp while expressing her admiration for the level of services provided to them.
Mubarak Mohammed Al Khaili, Director of the UAE-Jordanian Camp, expressed his happiness about the visit while highlighting the positive effect of such visits on the refugees and the ERC volunteers.
The refugees expressed their gratitude to the Nawah Energy Company for their two-day visit, and they prayed to Allah Almighty to preserve the UAE’s leadership and people, and to grant President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan good health.
They also expressed their appreciation to the ERC, which sponsors the camp and provides it with the necessities to offer a dignified living to the Syrian refugees, and to ease their suffering due to their displacement from their homes.
The delegation’s two-day visit began with a tour of the camp, where they listened to an explanation from Al Khaili about the ERC’s services to the Syrian refugees. There was also an art workshop for children where gifts were distributed to them, and a party was organised for elderly people that included folk songs, which made them happy.
