Muslim Council of Elders has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that occurred during the past days in Jordan, Yemen, Turkey, Germany and Switzerland.
In its late release, the Council stressed its strong objection to such terrorist attacks, which contradict Islam and all other religions and human traditions, which criminalise all forms of violence and terrorism against any human, regardless of their religions and beliefs. The Council called for the creation of a clear strategy to promote world peace and enforce the values of peace and tolerance to confront extremism and terrorism.
Ali Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Council, affirmed that these terrorist attacks are proof that all world organisations, Islamic scholars, and media outlets should cooperate to confront extremist ideologies around the world, in order to eliminate terrorism and save innocent people, as terrorism is threatening humanity throughout the world.
