Mufti of Jabel Lebanon Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Jozo urged on Monday the Egyptian people to be patient, unite and discard violence as they used to be before. In a statement, he warned of sedition in Egypt, saying "we are sad that democracy in Egypt is met by chaos and fake slogans". He urged the Egyptians who struggled for freedom to avoid fighting and to place their country's interests above any other political or partisian interest. He called on the Egyptian people to resort to constructive dialogue to avoid chaos that will harm both Egypt and the Arab world. "Stop fighting so that people would not say that the Arab world does not deserve democracy," he said. If Egypt falls down, all Arabs will fall down too," he warned.
