Grand Mufti of the Kingdom Mohammad Khalaileh called on citizens to scan the skies Friday evening for the crescent moon, whose sighting ushers the start of the fasting month of Ramadan, according to the lunar calendar.
He said religious courts and the Iftaa Department offices across the country will be open for those observing the crescent to register their testimonies.
