His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Monday evening at Al Bateen Palace, the delegations of Emirates Red Crescent, Charity associations, the Sheikh Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Zakat Fund, Al Watan Fund, philanthropists and businessmen.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged the Ramadan greetings with the delegates in the presence of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees. They all wished well for President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and further progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi commended the humanitarian role of these bodies, referring to their programmes in service of humanity. He added that due to the of the UAE President, the State has a remarkable impact on international humanitarian work, thanks to the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE would continue extending its hands to peoples and countries in need.
He praised the contributions of philanthropists and businessmen to the humanitarian programmes, which strengthen the UAE humanitarian efforts. "They are partners in giving," he added.
