GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, announced that the ministerial committee tasked with follow up of the implementation of joint action resolutions, will convene its 8th meeting at the GCC General Secretariat tomorrow, in order to review and follow up the implementation of resolutions issued from the GCC Supreme Council, with members countries, through issuance of legislations and actions to expedite their implementation and removal of any obstructions. Dr. Al-Zayani stated the ministerial committee meeting shall review the legislative resolutions issued in implementation of the joint action resolutions throughout the period since the 7th ministerial committee meeting held in the Kingdom of Bahrain last April. The meeting shall also discuss other resolutions for which no legislative resolutions have been issued by members states. The ministerial committee shall submit its report to the GCC Supreme Council during its 33rd session scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain next December. The ministerial committee meeting convenes in compliance with a resolution passed by the GCC Supreme Committee during its 29th session held in Muscat in December 2009 which stipulated the creation of a ministerial committee from member states, and the GCC Secretary-General, in order to review and follow up the implementation of GCC Supreme Council\'s resolutions with member states, through issuance of legislations and working to expedite the implementation thereof, and the removal of any obstructions.
