The Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic Security announced yesterday (Sunday: March 24, 2013) that an Asian national was arrested yesterday for pilfering credit cards and using the data of customers of a shop in which he worked.The Director-General said the Directorate received a report about a man who was topping up mobile phone cards by using stolen credit cards. The suspect was arrested after obtaining an arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution, 400 credit cards were found in his possession in his house.The man had stolen BD12000 and had links with a suspicious website which posted numbers of stolen/lost credit cards. The necessary legal procedures are being pursued in order to hand over the suspect to the Public Prosecution
