The State is keen on protecting the rights of the Egyptian expatriates and the Immigration Ministry attaches great importance to the recommendations of the national conference of Egyptian scientists abroad, said Minister Nabila Makram.
Periodical meetings are being held with ministries and bodies concerned to follow up the implementation of the expatriate scientists' recommendations.
Building a new extension to Magdi Yacoub hospital, a new medical center and a research unit was among the recommendations of the scientists' conference, she said.
The recommendations also include supporting Egypt's Space Agency and forming a national program on raising awareness about dealing with catastrophes and crises.
