Lists of names of several lawyers were found in one of the presidential palaces, announced the National Fact-Finding Committee into Corruption and Mismanagement Cases. These lawyers were tasked, according to these lists, to represent the government and public enterprises and corporations in courts. In a statement released on Thursday, the committee said it had received upon request of the President of the Tunis section of the Bar, an order on request sent by the Vice-President of the Court of First Instance of Tunis 1, authorising the fact-finding committee to provide a copy of the lists of lawyers to the president of the said section. According to the same statement, the committee said it had completed the review of various elements of the case early this week and decided consequently to bring it to the public prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Tunis 1.
