The members of Libya's new unity government arrived in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Wednesday.
Libyan sources said that seven members of the presidential council including prime minister Fayez Al Sarraj arrived in Tripoli's Abu Sita naval base by sea amid tightened security measures.
Early on Wednesday, sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire were reported in the Libyan capital, but cause was not immediately clear.
