Kuwait today vowed support for the Kingdom of Bahrain, citing the steps taken by its GCC country mate to preserve its security and stability and the welfare of its people. In a speech before the 68th General Assembly of the United Nations, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, denounced the terrorist act that ripped a commercial center in Nairobi last Saturday. He said preserving the security and peace regionally and internationally is first priority for a world that ties its principles and objectives to the United nations charter. He said his country gears to special relations with its neighbor Iraq and a cooperation that could reveal the remains of Kuwaiti missing persons during the war. He called for serious steps towards the crisis in Syria.
