The Kingdom established the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) out of a self-conviction to serve national interests, and the government accepted its recommendations and committed itself to implementing most of them, as proved by factual evidence, but some sides have chosen to continue denying the state\'s sincere intentions to honor its pledges and undermining landmark achievements in this regard, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said. HRH Premier added: \"We are determined to refute systematic lying against the government using facts and we will prove that those allegations are baseless through strong proof and compelling evidence. We are confident that our stances are sound and fair and no one can cast doubt in the sincerity of the government\'s intentions or the transparency of state bodies.\" \"We will do our duty towards our nation and people, and we have to be resolute and decisive when it comes to the safety and security of the nation and the people. We will thank those who serve them and hold accountable those who cause harm to them,\" HRH Prime Minister pledged as a chaired here today a work meeting devoted to political and economic affairs. HRH Premier affirmed that the government strongly supports the development and modernization process in order to enhance the reform march in the kingdom, but will not accept attempts to impede opportunities that allow Bahrain to enjoy security, stability and openness that benefit all citizens and will not allow acts of violence and sabotage to wreak havoc in the country. \"Those who seek reform have to denounce and condemn violence, provide no political or religious cover for it and pair words with deeds,\" HRH Prime Minister said. Regarding the economic issue, HRH Premier issued instructions to take the initial steps needed to implement projects funded by the GCC Development Programme, stressing that GCC funds will be devoted to development, economic and social projects that improve the level of government services and upgrade the citizens\' standards of living. HRH Prime Minister also the reviewed the progress of various government projects.
