Jordanian Prime Minister Awn Al-Khasawneh on Tuesday conferred with Kuwaiti Army Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Sheikh Ahmad Khalid Al Sabah, and his accompanying delegation, who are now visiting Jordan. Khasawneh highlighted the strong Jordanian-Kuwaiti ties which have developed thanks to King Abdullah II and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al –Sabah as well as their keenness to forge closer cooperation for the interest of both countries. The Kuwaiti army chief praised the strong relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as the supportive stance of the two leaderships to Arab causes. The kuwaiti official flew into Amman earlier Sunday for a visit to Jordan to attend meetings of the joint higher committee.
