Mohammad Momani, Jordanian State Minister for Media Affairs, has said that that the Arab Summit that Jordan is hosting next month, is an opportunity for Arab leaders to discuss the huge challenges threatening pan-Arab security.
The Petra News Agency quoted Mr. Momani as saying that that three panels have been formed and tasked with the preparations, including the higher committee which oversees the summit's agenda.
On Syria, the minister said that Jordan supports a political and diplomatic track to stop the bloodshed and reach a solution to restore peace and security to the country.
