Anti-drugs and security agents in the southern port city of Aqaba , Jordan , seized 300,000 Captagon pills destined to be smuggled into a neighbouring country, the Public Security Department said in a statement released here on Saturday. The department\'s media centre said that anti-drug police were tipped off several days ago about an unspecified number of people readying \"a huge amount\" of drug pills for smuggling to a neighbouring country. \"After gathering and verifying the information, two suspects were pinpointed and tracked down before being arrested while they were still in their vehicle in which they had concealed the drugs that were to be smuggled. The Pentagon pills were found during a search of the vehicle,\" the statement said. The suspects were referred to the state security court\'s prosecutor general, it added. Elsewhere, anti-narcotics personnel raided a house near Azraq, east of Amman, after receiving information that it was being used to store drugs for trade and personal use. Two persons nabbed from the hideout were arrested and two kilograms of hashish and 60,000 Captagon pills were recovered.
