The Ministry of Interior and Injazat Data Systems (Injazat), an industry-recognised market leader for secure data center and managed services solutions, signed on Wednesday an agreement for the implementation of the 24/7 smart surveillance project for e-monitored buildings.
Signed in attendance of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, by Lt. General Saif Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Khaled Al Melhi, CEO of Injazat, the agreement will see Injazat, a wholly-owned Mubadala Investment Company, install round clock smart surveillance system for 150,000 buildings and facilities in the state.
The project is critical for prevention and safety of infrastructure.
Major General Al Marzouqi is the General Commander of Civil Defense said the smart surveillance project would ensure prompt readiness of fire safety, prevention and alert systems.
''The system reduces time of reporting an incident as it generates a direct e-notification and identifies the location of the incident,'' he added.
