A poll conducted by the Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) reported that 43.6 percent of those surveyed agree on amending the criminal procedure code as the best way to counter extremism.
Some 36.4 percent saw that amending the Constitution would be the best, while 20 percent voted for increasing the number of judges.
Also, 7.7 percent said education represents the best solution, while accelerating the execution of sentences was selected by 3.2 percent.
Some 9.4 percent voted for renewing the religious discourse, while 8.4 percent voted for executing death sentences against the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood defendants.
According to the poll, 6.7 percent voted for holding military trials.
