Human rights officials at Arab interior ministries, Wednesday, began their third conference in Tunisia to discuss issues pertaining to human rights and security.
Representing Jordan in the conference was Col. Amer Habahbeh, from the Public Security Department.
The conference will discuss an Arab strategy to promote human rights in the security field and the concept of a specialized administration in human rights in terms of structure and functions.
Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Mohammed bin Ali Koman, said the strategy would allow drawing a long-term perception to promote human rights through putting up effective Arab policies, as well as strengthening Arab and international cooperation.
