His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa AL Khalifa has been congratulated by a group of members of the Representatives Council for the kingdom’s outstanding success in organising the FIFA Congress.
First Deputy Speaker, MP Ali Al-Aradi, MP and members of the Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Khalid Al-Shaer, and MP Jalal Kadhim extended deepest congratulations to HM the King on the kingdom’s success in hosting the major international gathering.
They also extended sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the occasion.
They asserted that the success of the FIFA Congress proves anew Bahrain’s ability to host mega events in various fields thanks to its distinguished competencies and potentials.
The MPs also lauded the keynote speech delivered by the Representative of HM the King f or Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on behalf of HM King Hamad and the people of Bahrain.
They praised Shaikh Nasser’s assertion of the values of tolerance among peoples and the role of sports in achieving noble human values.
They also valued highly the efforts exerted by the President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Shaikha Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, and all the organisers, to ensure the success of the 67th FIFA Congress with distinction.
