His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa affirmed his keenness on bolstering judicial independence, supporting the judiciary and providing qualified personnel. He stressed the crucial role of the judiciary in safeguarding rights and consolidating social security and stability, describing justice and equality as a key pillar of modern state building.

This came as he received, at Al-Safriya Palace, Head of Court of Cassation, Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Deputy President Chancellor Abdulla bin Hassan Ahmed Al-Buainain and Court of Cassation Puisne Judge Chancellor Ma’asuma Abdulrasul Isa who took their oath.

HM the King also received Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) President Chancellor Nawaf Abdulla Abdulaziz Hamza and LLOC Deputy President Chancellor Mohammed Ahmed Ali Muqbal who were sworn-in.
They expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the royal trust, vowing to spare no effort in assuming this responsibility and serving Bahrain and its people.

HM the King congratulated them and hailed their judicial and legislative competence and expertise, wishing them success in assuming their national responsibilities. He hailed the dedicated efforts of the judicial branch members, of all ranks, to achieve justice and protect the rights of citizens and all residents living on Bahrain’s territories.

HM the King lauded continuous developments involving judicial strata and legislations, stressing Bahrain’s longstanding judicial history. He reiterated Bahrain’s firm keenness on developing and upgrading various bodies and supplying them with national competences, who proved their credentials in all fields.

“The development march will continue unabated thanks to the dedicated efforts and cooperation of the three branches to ensure more achievements in all sectors”, HM the King said, paying tribute to Bahrainis for striving with great dedication for their country’s progress.
