Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Thursday called on all parties in the country to agree on political issues of interest to Lebanese, as the mandate of Lebanon's parliament ends June 20th and no agreement is reached on a new electoral law.
Addressing the Cabinet 's session at Baabda Presidential Palace, Hariri pointed to the openness of all political parties to approach these issues.
Hariri said Lebanon is " on the way to reach a comprehensive and major solution and we must exert serious efforts to reach an electoral law." The Lebanese Cabinet, which failed to convene for several weeks due to the electoral law crisis, had 105 items on its agenda including pressing issues.
