The GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, praised the Kingdom of Bahrain\'s persistent efforts, legislative and executive actions taken towards implementation of BICI\'s recommendations that reflect the Kingdom\'s keenness and commitment to implementing the BICI\'s report and praised the Kingdom\'s constant efforts aimed to address the situation and remedy any negative impact of last year\'s unfortunate incidents. Dr. Al-Zayani spoke to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and praised the second report announced by Minister of Justice HE Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa regarding implementation of the BICI\'s report, pointing out that the report has revealed the facts in all transparency and objectiveness. According to the GCC Secretary-General, the report included constructive measure taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain\'s government in supporting and developing the judicial authority, issuance of a considerable number of legislations which confirms that the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in compliance with the royal desire, is keen on implementing all BICI\'s recommendations and complying with international law and standards of human rights. The GCC Secretary-General pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain\'s government is keen to inform the public opinion on the latest developments on this issue, which reflects the Kingdom\'s credibility and firm commitment to implementing the BICI\'s recommendations. The GCC Secretary-General also praised the Government for its initiatives aimed at remedying the impacts of the mishaps through national reconciliation and pointed out through the boosting of its national unity, peaceful co-existence and consolidation of its cohesion and intimacy of the Bahraini community, Bahrain is capable of eradicating any attempt to divide the ranks. The GCC Secretary-General concluded his statement by reiterating the GCC states stance alongside with the Kingdom of Bahrain and approval of all measure taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in order to maintain its security and stability and to reinforce national unity in its community.
