The Central Committee at the Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine (Fatah) expressed hope that talks scheduled on Tuesday with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) would lead to the formation of the Palestinian government. Following its meeting in Ramallah last night, headed by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Committee decided to continue contacts with Hamas and other factions to form a Palestinian government in the shortest time, a Committee\'\'s member Azzam al-Ahmed told reporters today but refused to mention the names of candidates from both movements. For his part, Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rdainah said the meeting dealt with the Middle East peace process and the international efforts exerted to support it. The session also discussed the outcome of the recent talks held in Washington between the Palestinian President envoys and the US side. Fatah and Hamas signed inter-reconciliation agreement in Cairo on May 4.
