The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) continued its relief and humanitarian works in the Governorate of Hadramaut by providing food assistance to the people of Al Ais and Falak in the directorate of Al Mukalla, within the framework of its efforts to ease the suffering and normalise life for the families facing tough conditions owing to the untold circumstances in their country.
The ERC humanitarian projects include relief measures, as well as health, education and infrastructure aid in the various liberated governorates, including Hadramaut, in which the UAE top humanitarian aid provider is currently undertaking a group of development and service projects, to improve the living conditions of the residents.
A feeling of happiness prevailed among the people when they received the relief material from the ERC team. They praised the UAE’s leadership, government and the people, and the country' brotherly stance for making sustained efforts to provide relief for the people of Yemen, especially in Hadramaut.
Abdulaziz Al Jabri, Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, remarked that the campaign aimed to improve the life of the people by providing humanitarian, relief and development assistance.
He clarified that the assistance was being given within the context of the efforts made by the UAE in the field of charity and humanitarian work, and its efforts to ease the suffering resulting from food shortage.
Al Jabri pointed out that the campaign aimed to resolve the food shortage among Yemeni families and improve their humanitarian and economic conditions.
