The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has presented school bags and toys to several children in Mukalla in Hadramaut, as part of its efforts to improve the educational environment in Yemen.
This aid was part of the efforts made by the UAE in the social responsibility area, under the directives of its wise leadership on the occasion of the Year of Giving.
Abdulaziz Al Jabri, Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, affirmed that the ERC was giving special attention to supporting the educational process in Yemen, through its sustained humanitarian initiatives in Hadramaut to reduce the financial burden on Yemeni families.
He added that the ERC was working on planning and assessing its social contribution to ensure its diversity and to reach out to the largest segment of the Yemeni community, especially the vulnerable and the needy people, aiming to make a positive change in their lives.
The children and their families expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this gesture and for the constant support of the ERC. The children welcomed the ERC delegation with bouquets.
