During the holy month of Ramadan, kind acts of charity fill all nooks and corners of the UAE. But for 30-year-old Emirati, Afra Al Dhaheri, helping others is in her blood.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Al Dhaheri said charity and compassion are her ultimate passion, and this Ramadan she aims to feed a staggering 6,000 workers with Iftar.
"Helping people is in my blood, I always like to put people ahead of me, animals ahead of me - this is just something that I do without thinking twice about it."
Every Ramadan Al Dhaheri tries to feed as many people as she can every Ramadan, and last year she fed 5,300 workers in the Mussafah area. But this year she wants to up that number.
