Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued Sunday a decree announcing the new cabinet under the Premiership of Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. According to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Emiri decree appointed Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mustafa Jasem Al-Shimali as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Sheikh Salem Abdulaziz Al-Saud Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Lt Gen (ret) Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; and Anas Khalid Al-Saleh as Minister of Commerce and Industry. The new formation included Thikra Ayed Al-Rashidi as Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and Dr. Rola Abdullah Dashti as Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, Minister of State for Planning and Development Affairs. The formation also included Salem Mutheeb Al-Utheina as Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah as Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Shareeda Abdullah Al-Muosherji as Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Abdulaziz Abdulatif Al-Ibrahim as Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water, Essa Ahmed Al-Kandari as Minister of Communications, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Minister of Health; and Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf as Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education. This follows a decree on July 29, 2013, which appointed Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as the Prime Minister
