Eight Daesh members were detained by the anti-terror branch of the Ankara Police on Saturday.
The Daesh members were detained at the end of a successful security operation, according to Turkey Anadolu news Agency.
Police believe the eight Daesh members were planning to carry out a terror attack on New Year's Eve.
As part of the operation, the police officers seized many organization-related documents at the locations where the eight Daesh members stayed.
A total of 277 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey, where the terror organisation has targeted civilians in suicide bomb attacks, rocket attacks, and long-barrelled gun attacks.
