The Egyptian authorities have released 33 Egyptian, who were detained in Libyan prisons, Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr said on Tuesday. The contacts made by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry with Libyan officials over the past weeks were fruitful, said Amr. The released people were delivered to the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli before being transferred to a hotel in the Libyan capital, Egypt''s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said. The Egyptian Embassy in Benghazi is processing for their travel documents, it added. They will then be transported to the Tunisian island of Djerba, the last leg of their journey before reaching their homeland, it added.
