A family trapped in fire that broke out in their villa was rescued by a team of Dubai Ambulance services on Tuesday morning.
On receiving information, the team swung into action and arrived at the villa within four minutes.
An emergency medical technician, Naser Al Marzouki, pulled one of the women out of the villa's balcony and carried her to safety on his shoulders. He then prevented other family members from getting suffocated.
Meanwhile, the driver Jalal Ebadi rescued a small girl who was surrounded by fire and heavy smoke.
After they evacuated the woman and the girl, they were told that an elderly woman was still inside the villa. Al Marzouki warned the other family members against entering the villa. He then went inside the house and saved the old woman too.
The family members escaped unhurt with only minor injuries.
