Doha hosted today the first meeting of the Qatar- UAE Joint Security Committee, which is part of the Joint Higher Committee between the two countries.
HE Director General of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi chaired the Qatari side at the meeting, while HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far headed the delegation of the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of security issues of common concern.
An agreement in 'passport' field was signed between the two countries.
