Crown Prince Salman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, yesterday attended the graduation ceremony of the 83rd graduating class of King Faisal Air Academy (KFAA) students. Prince Salman was welcomed by Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Sultan, Chief of General Staff Gen. Hussien bin Abdullah Al-Qubail, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Lt. Gen. Mohammad Al-Ayesh, and commander of KFAA Maj. Gen. Ali bin Juwair Al-Hamad. Prince Salman witnessed a military parade presented by the KFAA students. He then distributed prizes to the outstanding students and honored those who showed excellence in F15 jet maintenance programs. Prince Salman also received a memorial gift from the KFAA commander. At the end of the event, Prince Salman and attendees witnessed an aerial formation of a group of military jets presented by the Saudi Falcon team that demonstrated combat efficiency and good training levels of the RSAF staff. Commander of the RSAF Lt. Gen. Al-Ayesh has expressed pleasure over the presence and patronage of Prince Salman of the KFAA graduation ceremony. “This blessed approach is the same approach of the rulers of the country who habitually join their sons in their joyful events and instill confidence in their hearts to be good protectors of this generous country,” he said. Al-Ayesh said the KFAA had been receiving unlimited support from the government headed by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Supreme Commander of all military sectors King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman.
